The rapid development of mobile telephony over the past decade raises a debate about the potential health risks posed by radio waves.

In this context, SFR commits to:

  • Respect regulatory laws in force;
  • Collaborate, consult and dialogue closely with public authorities;
  • Share information related to radio waves, to health and mobile telephony, while taking a neutral stand at a scientific level.

SFR thus follows the findings and recommendations of the World Health Organization and other health authorities. To date, the opinions of experts converge on the safety of relay antennas. No health risks have been established where the levels of exposure to radio waves are lower than international recommendations. The studies on mobile telephony usage has not permitted the identification of any proven risks. But some results raise questions that deserve further study.
