StudioCanal and diversity in cinematic expression

The production policy of StudioCanal, a subsidiary of the Canal+ Group, reflects the variety of cinema genres around the world.
For example, in the UK, StudioCanal will contribute, via StudioCanal Features – the production arm of its subsidiary British Optimum –, to a new adaptation of the Graham Greene novel Brighton Rock, which will mark the cinema debut of director Rowan Joffe, then to the production of Attack the Block, the first film under the exclusive production agreement with Big Talk Productions. These two first projects have support from the UK Film Council.
