Approach and Performance
Activision Blizzard has a remarkable information program for parents and children, “Ratings are Not a Game” on its Web site. It informs users about the age-classification pictograms and content descriptions used on video-game packaging.
These ratings, established by industry organizations such as PEGI (PanEuropean Game Information) , and PEGI online (for online games) in Europe and ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) in the United States, are aimed at guiding consumers’ choices.
The program, launched in the United States, is now being deployed in Europe.
