The group’s business units work to optimize their employees’ working environment and the balance between private and working life, offering flexible working hours or telecommuting solutions.

  • For example, SFR continues its efforts to arrange work stations. In continuity with the renovation of its Séquoia network supervision center in 2008, the fixed-network supervision center located in Saint Priest was also renovated. The renovation project included calling in an ergonomist to study employees’ activities and working conditions, acoustics in the workplace, lighting, and the HVAC system and completely rethinking the organization of the space in order to optimize employees’ working conditions. Everything from the arrangement of the space to the choice of materials was scrupulously studied to meet regulations on safety and well-being (acoustic panels, lighting dimmers, horizontal ventilation shafts, a wall of 16 plasma screens, etc.). The supervision center was designed to be as functional as it is convivial, with a new modern, simple, ergonomic work station with desks arranged in islands to encourage teamwork. The facility also now has a resting area for the rotating teams, a crisis room, and a training room.
  • In Brazil, GVT set up numerous programs intended for improving its employees’ well-being. A new spacious and ergonomic administrative unit houses customer support and infrastructure. A specific program aiming at insuring the well-being of the teams, Bem-estar, programa de qualidade de vida, has been put in place.
